We hope all our patrons have a wonderful holiday season, and will have a prosperous New Year. Certainly, in these troubling times, we are all facing challenges, many of them financial. In light of this the Library has changed its policies regarding the borrowing of DVDs and VHS tapes.

Feature DVDs may now be borrowed for three days, instead of two. Non-fiction DVDs and all VHS tapes may still be borrowed for seven days.

Late fines for DVDs and VHS tapes have been reduced from $3 per day to $2 per day. With the longer lending period we hope this will reduce the incidences where charging a fine is necessary.

Even as the days grow colder, they grow longer, and with the increasing light we hope for a lessening of the troubles that have gripped our nation. We hope you will continue to visit us throughout the winter, to borrow books, DVDs, VHS and audio books. Bring your children to a story hour; attend one of our concerts. Bring your lap top to our quiet study area to log on to our wireless network. Join us on one of our recreational bus trips this spring.
